It is pleasing to report the high attendance at the InternetBay Business Event which we held a few weeks ago together with Boliden. In view of the clear demand for IT services that Boliden spoke of, I am convinced that several of the participating companies will be doing business with Boliden in the near future.

There is currently a big demand for robust IT providers from many of the major companies in our region.

Next on our agenda is the big annual InternetBay Partnering Event, which this year promises to be even better. Note that we wish to invite all IT professionals (men and women, employees and managers) to this event that is designed for all the companies operating in the IT industry.

I am looking forward to seeing you on 29 November.

Best regards,
Johan Hedlin

InternetBay organises Partnering Event in Studio Acusticum in Piteå

The 29 November is the day for InternetBay’s annual IT trade meeting. The event is called InternetBay Partnering Event. It is an occasion where invited IT companies from Northern Sweden and Finland meet for a day, to see and be seen and to make new contacts. The meeting is for all actors in the IT industry.

”We welcome members, prospective members and other companies belonging to the fast-growing IT industry,“ says Johan Hedlin, CEO of InternetBay.

The day is one of mingling, meetings, entertainment and talks. The speakers include Kimmo Ojuva, President of Dimes (Digital Media Service Innovations in Finland). Kimmo was formerly CEO of NOKIA Sweden.

Fredrik Högberg is another gifted speaker who is in an intensive period of development of what he has named iOpera – which is exactly what it sounds like, digital distribution of opera: a new exciting product that is predicted to continue its fast growth.

The event will be led by two female moderators, Naila Saleem and Malin Sjöstedt. Naila is a radio reporter and former foreign correspondent. Malin comes straight from the School of Music in Piteå and among her previous accomplishments she has been a popular moderator of the SMASK event.

”It will be interesting to try Piteå for this type of business event. The new setting in Studio Acusticum is an exhilarating venue for our event,” Johan Hedlin adds, and ends with a big

Welcome!
